Energetic Flow

Standing in the art store in Cuenca, Ecuador, I struggled with my execrable Spanish to make myself understood. So excited and inspired to get creating, but confounded by the unusual dimensions and different brands of the supplies, to say nothing of my lacking language skills

"Can I assist you?" 

From behind me came the heavily accented, but delightfully helpful query, and I turned to meet my first new friend in my new city, the place that is my new home.

Happy to share his love of art my friend helped me to make my purchases. We exchanged numbers and met for lunch. He showed me the galleries and introduced me to his friends. What a stroke of luck to have both needed canvases at the same time, in the same place.

Like mini miracles in the ether, continuously bubbling up, this piece speaks to being open and clasping hands with the unexpected. 

Synchronicities, coincidences, or as I call this piece "Energetic Flow".
