Artist Statement

Human connection. The touch of a hand, the soft caress of a kiss upon the skin. The heat of bodies coming together with tenderness, passion and affection. This is the nature of my work. I paint to re-discover the connection of loving energy.

The colours I choose speak to the mood and emotion being transmitted between the figures while the brushstrokes surrounding them reflect the aura and vibration that is emanating in response to the way in which they feel. I am not interested in specific individuals, races, or genders. I am only interested in the vibrational creation of love. The sensuality, joy, and surrender forging a oneness out of the multiverse of human forms. 

The abstraction of the bodies as well is indicative of my disregard for individual specifics, or that which we are on the surface. Rather, my work is a study in energetic magic that is our quantum soul. It is our inner world that excites me. Our inner world and how it melds together in a colour wheel of erotic beauty with those that have our heart. 

Love. Connection. That is what my work is about. Like sparks alight on the skin, causing tingling goosebumps, the touch of another is like the paintbrush stroking the canvas. When I paint, I am in flow and that is the only state I wish to be in always.
