Let go, Love. It's okay, just let go...

How many times did I whisper that to my husband as I watched him do battle in his last few days. Heartbroken to be sure, but in agony over his suffering and wanting it to end. 

Block it out. Think only of the good times. I poured my heart into that mantra.

"Hanging On & Letting Go" Depicts the inner cacophany, the energetic struggle we lived together. The too bright moments of trying to stay positive. The blocking out of pain and putting a smile on it, like lipstick on a pig, while the darkness crept in wrapping around him slowly, excruciatingly, squeezing the life out of him. 

For God's sake, take him and be done! 

Am I terrible for wishing that?
